What the listing says it is
A mobile version of the ProPilkki 2 ice-fishing simulation. The store copy talks about more than 40 frozen lakes, ponds and rivers, single-player tournaments, and public online games. The free trial, as written, is 16 lakes plus practice, a single-player competition, and local records. The paid unlock lists 40 lakes, network multiplayer, 25 competition modes, 38 lures, four rods, eight baits, two drills, three seasons, four times of day.
How the session feels from the text
You walk out, drill, pick a lure, and wait on schools that come and go. That last part is not my poetry — it is how public ratings on the same page describe the bite. Those ratings also say there is no real tutorial. The store page does not advertise one either, so I am not pretending Apple hid a walkthrough in a screenshot.
Who it suits
Someone who wants a simulation with Finnish lakes and a network layer, and who will either live in the trial or pay $4.99 for the full version. The rating sample is small (30). That is why it is No. 3, not No. 1, even though the fantasy of “more than 40 lakes” is the richest on this almanac.
What it is not
It is not a five-day money-and-heater derby. It is not an arcade bait shop with advertising in the age panel. It is not hosted on Faywor. Compatibility includes iPhone, iPad, and, on the spec sheet, Mac with Apple M1 or later and Apple Vision — I am not turning that into a promise that the interface is good on a Vision headset, because the developer has not filled in accessibility features either.
