This policy describes how Alternative Me Ltd handles information on alternative-me.com.

Introduction

The site is an editorial log of App Store listings. It does not create accounts and it does not host applications.

Information We Collect

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you type. The hosting provider may log standard request data such as IP address, user agent, and the path requested.

How We Use It

Contact messages are read to correct listing errors. Server logs are used to keep the site running. We do not sell this information.

Data Security

We use HTTPS. No method of transmission is perfect. Do not send passwords or payment details through the form — this log never asks for them.

Third-Party Services

Links leave for the App Store and other developers' listings. Those services have their own policies. Google Fonts may load typefaces from Google's servers.

Cookies

This log does not set an analytics cookie and does not store a login. After you press Cookies on the notice, the browser keeps one local mark named amLogMark so the notice stays closed. That mark never leaves the device. The Cookies link in the footer brings the notice back. Hosting or Google Fonts may still set their own cookies. You can clear the mark in the browser; the pages still read.

Your Rights

You may ask what we hold from a message you sent, and ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected].

Children's Privacy

The site is written for adults reading store cards. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated text replaces this page. The ranking's checked date is separate and lives on the home page.
