What the listing says it is
Premium is the older derby: five days, a bait shop each morning, a forecast that turns mean. Bluegills, crappie, perch, walleyes, northern pike. Cash at the weigh-in. A portable shelter and a heater are framed as survival gear, not cosmetics. Other fishermen on the lake may offer trades; the page tells you to be careful which ones you take.
How it sits next to Derby 2
The same publisher’s Derby 2 page points at this one as “the classic original.” Premium is smaller (30.5 MB against 193 MB), cheaper as a single price, and quieter on the rating sample (47 vs 1,149). I ranked it second because the paid card is honest about ads and IAP, and because it is still the same Ice Fishing derby idea without the 3D sequel’s extra modes.
Who it suits
A player who will pay $3.99 once and does not want a shop inside the shop. Offline play is mentioned in public ratings on that page; I am not promoting it as a guaranteed airplane mode because the store’s own spec sheet does not print “offline” as a bullet I can tick.
What it is not
It is not a free trial. It is not Derby 2. It is not a 22-lake 3D sequel — that sentence lives on the other Pishtech card. And it is not hosted here.
